Alexis was beginning to wonder why either of them had agreed to this. He probably had much better things to do then go to a cafe with a stranger and listen to her waffle on about her problems when he could be at home changing into something a lot less wet and coffee stained. And she could really just go home and rant at... Something. She didn't actually have anything to go home to, and her idea of adopting a cat was seeming like a better idea with every step she took. Until then she'd have to buy a diary or something, that was she could get her thoughts out without having to spill coffee down an unsuspecting stranger.
She was pulled from her thoughts when Ansel spoke up again, and she couldn't help but laugh at what he'd asked "No, actually, that only seems to happen when you're around" She admitted with a shrug and a smile "Has anyone else poured their coffee down you?" She asked, it was the first thing that had come to mind, and a bit of a dumb question, but it was better then an awkward silence, right?

Izzy gave him one last smile before they both turned away, getting lost in their thoughts for a little bit. She stared at the door of the carriage, and could almost pretend that she wasn't on her way to the Capitol. She was so excited about it, but of course she couldn't help being nervous- there was so much to be nervous about. Everyone knew the Capitol could be dangerous, and she'd never been so it was a brand new place for her, and she was hopefully meeting her mum for the first time in her life. She shook her head. She couldn't be nervous, she just had to go with it, or she'd end up completely chickening out. She brought her eyes back to Cas, just too see him looking at her, but his grey eyes were sort of glazed over, like he was thinking about something. "Cas? Are you okay?" She asked, wiggling her fingers slightly to try and get his attention.

Isabelle couldn't help but let herself relax a little when his hand found hers. He was her oldest friend, and he'd always managed to make her feel better just by being there, and right now was the same as ever. With him there she knew she'd be okay. They'd both be okay. She smiled softly back at Cas, brushing her dark hair back out of her face with her free hand. "Okay. I know." She said, her smile widening slightly at the sight of his grin. It was a contagious grin, and always managed to make you smile with it. It was a shame not many people knew it, but because of that when you did see it it always made you feel special, and that was a feeling Izzy treasured.

Izzy scrunched up her features when he messed up her hair, but they were quickly smoothed out again with her familiar grin. "Lets" She said, then let herself get towed onto the station and waited for him to buy the tickets. She'd have to remember to pay him back later. She knew he had the money, but he was already doing so much for her, and paying him back for her ticket seemed like a good way to start saying thanks. Before she knew it she was being lead onto a train with his hand on her back. She let her eyes travel around the train as they walked, taking it all in. She'd never actually been on a train, or out of her home district before, so it was a big step, and all she could really think was that she was glad she was taking it with Cas. She sat down as he closed the door and breathed deeply. Nerves were now slowly creeping in on her, but she did her best to ignore them as she smiled at Cas.

"Okay" Izzy agreed with a smile before turning and running back to her house. No one was home yet, thank god, so she had no questions to face- well, not just yet anyway. She found a bag and jammed a few clothes in her bag, but she wasn't sure what else she was actually meant to bring. She took a moment, thinking about everything as she brought her dark hair into a ponytail. Then, she headed downstairs and chucked some cereal bar things and money in her bag, just in case. She had no weapons, but she was pretty sure she wouldn't need them, so she began to head towards the door when she decided it was better if she left a note, telling her parents not to worry just in case they did for some reason. Then, she was actually out of the door and running towards the station as quickly as she could. She stopped just in time to avoid crashing into Cas, and sucked in a breath "I'm so unfit" She stated as she got her breath back, stepping away from him.

"It'll probably take me closer to 5, but no more then 10 minutes" Izzy told him, still smiling up at him. She knew that maybe she should slow down, that she was moving a bit too quickly, but she was just just so overwhelmed with hope that her mind wasn't working properly. She shoved her hands in her pockets, rocking back and forth on her heels as she waited for him to tell her what to do next.

Isabelle did her best to follow Cas' lead, her eyes were straight ahead and stayed as close to him as she could, hoping no one would stop them or ask them any questions as she really didn't know how they'd answer. But, she pushed those thoughts away as they successfully left the justice hall without any questioning, or even any weird looks. Maybe that was something to do with Cas being a Carver, or something. She breathed a sigh of relief once they were apparently far enough away and he realised her, then she grinned back at him. She wasn't sure how to reply to his question, though. She grin faltered slightly as she thought, then she shrugged "I don't know, but the sooner the better" She told him, her smile returning.

Izzy waited for him to memorise the route, excited butterflies flying through her stomach as she fiddled with her hands. She couldn't sit still right now even if she tried, she wanted to keep moving, preferably moving towards the Capitol, but she was doing her best to be patient. Now, they at least knew where she was, and it was a start. They had time to carry on with the plan, even if she didn't want to wait. She took his hand and jumped up, grinning at him despite his comment. They both knew she wasn't one that enjoyed getting in trouble, at all, but right now she didn't care. She was probably going to get yelled at anyway, so what the hell?

Isabelle nodded along what he was saying, honestly so happy that she had someone like Cas in her life that she could rely on and would help her when she needed help. She glanced back at the screen, looking at where the red box was and tried to make a mental note, but even if she did remember it (which was highly unlikely) it probably wouldn't matter as she'd just end up forgetting. That's why she needed Cas, and why she was so glad he'd offered to go with her. Her chocolate eyes locked with his grey ones, and she smiled "Thank you. So much Cas, this means so much" She told him, though he probably knew that. He'd spent enough years with her whining on about it.

Eventually, Izzy stopped her gaze flickering around and just focused on the screen instead. She just hoped that they'd actually be able to find out where she was. She needed to know- it had become more then wanting years ago. She needed to meet her birth mum, and it could finally, actually be happening. She breathed a sigh of relief when the computer stopped moving, a light grin coming to her face as she turned her attention to Cas. "So she's there somewhere? I'd just need to find out where she lives or works or something?" She asked, trying to keep her voice as calm, but really she was too eager for that too be possible.

A small grin couldn't help but come to Alexis' lips as she watched him sort out his hair. Her grin was replaced with a kind smile, though, when he spoke up again "Sure" She replied, then turned to walk away. She glanced over her shoulder to make sure he was following, even if she really wouldn't be surprised if he'd turned and ran while she was looking the other way. He had no reason to actually listen to her problems, so it just made her doubt he'd actually do it.

Alexis nodded, glancing over her shoulder in the direction of the shop. They weren't far from the shop, but it was a small walk and she hoped he was okay with that. She wasn't exactly sure why she'd agreed to talk to him about everything, as she wasn't sure what she was even going to say, but she'd do her best anyway. "Yeah, like 2 minutes walk" She told him, looking back at him with a small smile. Honestly, she just felt like a bit of an idiot for crying in front of someone she hardly knew, but she would have to life with it, it wasn't like she could change it now.

Alexis hesitated, unsure if she should go with Ansel or just go home. She had to admit, it was a pretty hard choice, but she'd decided he was right. It was better to talk to someone then bottle everything up, so if he was willing to listen she may as well go. She nodded then, pressing a smile to her lips as she pulled her sleeves over hands. Honestly, she was a bit embarrassed by it all. In, what, 5 minutes she'd managed to spill coffee all over someone, cry in front of them and now she was going to have a heart to heart with them. It was possibly the strangest encounter she'd had.

Alexis made sure to make a mental note of his name, determined she would remember it this time- even though there was a chance she wouldn't actually see him again. She was pulled back into the moment when she realised he'd noticed her crying, well, nearly crying, but still that was bad. She hadn't wanted him to notice. She shook her head, even though it was kind of the coffee's fault, but only because she'd managed to drench him and possibly hurt him because of it. "No, it not. Sorry. I've just had a bad day- week- i don't know, it was just the thing that topped it all" She explained, tucking a piece of hair behind her ear. She didn't know why she was bothering to tell him, he probably didn't care at all.

Alexis locked eyes with the dark haired boy for a second before they travelled down to see the mess she'd made of his top. It was at the sound of his voice that she realised they'd met in similar circumstances before, but this time it was her spilling the drink. She couldn't remember his name for the life of her, though, had she even known it in the first place? She couldn't remember. She pushed the treating tears away and nodded, smiling an embarrassed and apologetic smile as she looked at his face again. "Yeah," She agreed before quickly adding "Uhm, it's Alexis" She hoping he'd tell her his name as she really couldn't remember it. She wiped her hands on her jeans to dry them, but wasn't really sure what to do about anything else.
