It was an honest accident, really. He didn't know how it happened, but somehow Airron was put in the situation where he was pumped with booze and surrounded by gorgeous women- something he tried to avoid at all costs. Liquor and ladies were never a good mix with him, always ended with missing clothes and his groin somewhere it shouldn't be. This time was no different. The man had awoken in a bed that wasn't his, lacking clothing and cradled in the arms of a large breasted blonde. It didn't take long for memories of the night before to seep in. He'd gotten drunk, flirted with a female, and ultimately conned her into bed with him. That wasn't his intention for the night, no, he'd gone to a party thrown by one of his old friends for in celebration of a successful project. It was meant to be an innocent hour or two spent chatting, but someone brought out several cases of beer and women in skimpy dresses started pouring in through the doors and it was all down hill from then. Whether he really meant to cheat on Alice or not, Airron really messed up. Now normally he would've kept it to himself, just move on from the incident and acted as if it never happened- Alice was usually oblivious to the things he did. She changed him though, and he would not make the same mistake he with her he had with Lydia. There was going to be no secret keeping. No matter the outcome, he was going to tell her what he'd done. The sex hadn't meant a thing to him, just a spur of the moment kind of thing, but it had happened nonetheless. He just had to figure out a way to tell her about what he'd done. Airron was beyond ashamed, and was horrified by what he'd done. He hopped on the first train out of Four and debated what he was going to do the ride home. Fiddling with his clothing to make sure there was no visible evidence, he broke down. Luckily there was no one on the train considering it was so early in the morning, but that didn't stop him from wiping away the tears as if to stop pesky glares from judging him. He'd gone and risked losing the only good thing he had left, and he wasn't prepared for Alice's reaction, but it was coming all too soon. The train halted, and the conductor nearly threw him off. So it was only moments until he was at his girlfriend's door, knocking lightly as if to not stir her in the wee morning hours. Yet, she opened the door, wiping her eyes and beyond confused. Just the sight of his little blonde beauty made him tear up, hazel eyes glossy with sadness. Gulping, he pushed a swift smile to his lips before it fell, disappearing just as quickly as it'd appeared. Head dipping down, he couldn't look her in the eye, instead he simply murmured, "We need to talk, babe."

Life had become a bit of a boring routine for Alice- wake up, see what she had to do today, see Airron, do what she had to do, see her few friends, then more Airron. She didn't hate it, though, far from that; she loved her life, it just got a bit boring, though. Nothing ever changed, nothing spontaneous ever happened. That's why she was almost glad when Airron had told her he was going to Four for a night, and why she was almost relieved when she wasn't going with him. Sure, they loved each to the moon and back, but you still needed space some times. This just gave them that little space they needed without causing any tension. Or so she thought.
It was early when she heard an unexpected knock on her door that woke her up. She nearly pretended to ignore it, but decided against it, so with a grown she pulled her self out of bed, tugging her fingers through her knotted hair. Pulling the door open she came face to face (well, more like face to shoulder, he was way to tall to be face to face with her), with an unexpected man. "Airron!" She chirped, confused but happy. "You're back so- What's wrong?" She asked, a frown coming to her features as she slipped her hand into his and pulled him into the room.

Biting tentatively at his bottm lip he was sure had been pressed against more than just another woman's, Airron tried to not put up a fight as she yanked him inside. In fact, he'd gone nearly limp with her touch. The six foot something giant was completely weak under the hold of the petite blonde beauty, eyes dampening even further as concern raked through her words. He really screwed up, big time. This wasn't Breeze who he could just brush off, or Lydia who he'd learned to move on from, and it definitely wasn't one of the number of woman he'd slept with before. This was Alice, the only girl who cured his hostility and eager groin. This was the love of his life and he went and ruined it.
The words just couldn't meet his lips. He tried so, so hard to make them tumble from his drying mouth, but they wouldn't fall. So he delayed the inevitable, guilt getting the best of him as a tear fell from his glistening moss irises. "I don't think you'll want me to stay long," he protested gruffly, halting in place just a few paces into the room. His head fell with shame, voice a mere mumble as he offered as slim of an explanation as he could manage, "I messed up, Alice."
He left it at that, choking up as he struggled to even fathom her response once he managed to actually tell her what he'd done.

Her face fell as soon as she words had left her lips, her heart practically dropping to her stomach. She knew what he meant, knew what he was going to say, what he'd done. A voice in her head had always told her it was just a matter of time until it happened, but she'd always ignored it. She'd always had just enough hope to keep her going, in fact she'd almost completely blocked the idea that he may cheat on her. They'd been happy, or that's what they thought. She'd trusted him, she'd let herself trust him, and this was how he repaid her? Alice had always thought she was different, that she'd actually meant something to him, but apparently she was just naive. Really, she should've known better, after all, their relationship had literally started with him cheating.
She was pulled from her shocked thoughts when he spoke again, and she stepped back, shaking her head to try and clear it. She still felt half asleep and wondered for a moment if this was even real life, but the look on his face proved to her that it wasn't. She'd never dream of him in so much pain. Slowing her tears she asked "What did you do?" Her voice cracked, and she was pretty sure she knew the answer to her question, but she needed to hear him say it.

"Please," he begged, no longer able to contain his tears as the truth grew nearer to spilling, "Just, just understand that I didn't have any intentions on hurting you." Gulping, his eyes grew heavy, swelling and reddening as the guilt rained in. Taking a step forward, he didn't make a move to touch her because he knew she'd squirm away, but rather he enforced eye contact. "I know," his voice was broken, ridden with grief as he struggled to explain, "You know. It, it isn't hard to guess." He whipped his runny nose with the sleeve of his leather coat before continuing, "But I also know you need to hear it, and well, I'm not going to lie," inhaling sharply, a fresh round of tears leaked down his cheeks, "I slept with a girl I don't even remember the name of, Alice. I was wasted, and old habits kicked in," he sniffled, words failing him as he tried to explain, "But that's no excuse, I knew what I was doing and I didn't stop myself." Airron shook his head, a sob raking through his body, the reality of his actions really hitting. "Allie, I'm so, so sorry, and I know that means nothing to you right now, but I never, ever wanted to hurt you. This was something I've been trying to avoid since I've met you, because you were different," shaking his head, he choked on his words, "I-I failed you, I failed myself. You were the one good thing I had and went and soi-soiled it," regret clogging his thoughts, he glared at the ground, hands fiddling anxiously as he tried to think of what else he could say. Apologizing was useless, and he knew she wouldn't come back just like that. He didn't deserve someone as golden hearted as her, he didn't deserve someone half of what she was like. Trash fed on trash, and he'd been graced with a chance to flourish in the high life before he'd gone and let his body control him. Airron had never wanted to do this to her. Any other girl, and he wouldn't have thought twice, but Alice? She was his hope, love, and trust- now look what he's done. Sucking in a low sob, Airron turned his blossoming red face towards her, skin damp from all the crying. "You deserve better, girly," he strained the words out, voice a mere whisper as he dropped his gaze again. How could he have let this happen?

Her nostrils flared, lips turning down as she tried to force the tears down and smoother the anger that was beginning to rise before she said something that she'd regret, not that he wouldn't deserve anything she did say. Honestly, she wasn't completely sure if she was more angry at herself or him, she hated that she'd let herself be so naive, that she'd let his loving words trick her into believing she'd meant something, and she hated him for letting himself saying all those words, when deep down he must've known something like this would happen.
Unwillingly, she made eye contact with him, her watery blue eyes meeting with his already puffy dark ones. She didn't want to cry, or be upset, she just wanted to be angry, but as soon as he confirmed what she already knew a chocked sob escaped her lips, and a tear fell down her cheek. She turned her back on him, unable to actually face him without feeling sick to her stomach. She felt so many things in that moment; anger, sadness, pain, hatred. But the one feeling that beat them all was betrayal. He'd really betrayed. She swiped at her eyes with the back of her hand, which really just made her tired face look even more red and upset, which wasn't how she wanted to look right then, but she had other more important things on her mind. Like trying to block out what he was saying.
Allie. All of a sudden it sounded so sour- so wrong coming from his mouth. He didn't deserve to call her that, didn't deserve to be saying anything she'd given him the chance to say. She should have told him to leave right away, when she'd guessed what he'd done, but she hadn't. And she still didn't. Instead, she shook her head and began trying to speak "Jus- Just stop. Please. Stop" She breathed, unable to say anything more then that broken sentence. She wanted to yell at him, to scream and tell him to get out, to slap him or hit him, but found herself doing nothing but staring at the wall, arms wrapped around herself as if it would help hold in her tears.

It was weird. He actually really wanted her to be mad, to scream at him for letting her down, to slap him for betraying her, to do anything violent or harsh because he couldn't stand to see her cry. It hurt so, so bad to hear her sobs rake through her body, to watch tears fill her eyes. He couldn't stand it, because unlike the other girls he'd cheated on, Airron loved Alice with all he had. This was an accident, he hadn't set out that night intending to sleep with someone- in fact it was the opposite. He'd just wanted to stop by and leave because he knew what would happen, yet he'd gotten sucked into the party and it ultimately resulted in his heart breaking. What could he do now? This girl was the only one he could honestly say he had fallen for, the only one he saw himself settling down with. Now the future he'd drawn up was crumbling and it was all his fault.
Gulping as she turned away from him and croaked at him, Airron obeyed. He stopped talking for now, trying to figure out what he could do to fix this. It wasn't like he was just going to walk out on her, not this time. Going against what his mind told him, he reached out and cupped her shoulder with his palm, just the simple touch making him crack a silent sob at the thought that this may be the last time he'd get to do this. Knowing she'd try to squirm out of his grip, he moved quickly, using his hold on her to spin her around and ease her against his chest. Being so large had its benefits, she couldn't fight against him and get free. Wrapping one arm around her torso, he set the hand that was on her shoulder on the back of her head, fingers teasing the golden hair as he made his point swiftly. Dipping his lips down against her ear, he whispered, "I don't expect you to forgive me, Alice. I don't deserve the privilege of that, but I want to make sure you know well that I honestly, with all of my heart, never meant to do this to you. I didn't want to, and this is why. Today I lost the best thing I've ever had and it's all my fault." None of this was remotely because of her, this wasn't like the other times where his girlfriend had provoked him into acting out. No, she was perfect, exactly what he needed to remain stable, and he never had the urge to act out, but liquor had nasty effects. Sighing, he nuzzled his face into the crook of her neck, savoring it while it lasted because he knew she wouldn't cooperate much longer and he didn't want to make this any harder on her. So, he made an effort to end his speech for her sake. His voice was muffled in her hair, body tensing as he held her tight, "I am so sorry I let you down," he meant that, with every fiber of his body, mind, and soul, "And I love you, even if you hate me. Even if you wish that I'd drop dead, I love you." This wasn't him guilt tripping her, it was more of a reassurance to the girl that he was here even if she didn't want him to be. That he made a mistake, and he knew it, but he would still take a bullet for her. His feelings didn't change, guilt and grief just joined the party.
It killed him to let her go, his eyes dampening once again as he waited for her to react. He honestly expected her to go off, to release all her built up anger and slam her fists against his chest- and he'd willingly take it. He deserved to hurt more than anything. Bad people received bad things. Taking a hesitant step back, Airron looked at the ground in guilt, just waiting to be shoved out of the room as tears poured down his face.
He'd always been one with a temper, always referring to violence to fix his problems, and that's probably why he expected it from her.

Whipping forcefully at her eyes, Alice felt anger bubbling up inside her, it had started off slowly, but it was feeding off her feelings of sadness and betrayal. The fire bubbled through her, gradually enveloping her heart and overwhelming her. That's when he spun her round, and she so nearly lashed out at him, but before she knew it she was being crushed against his chest, and she melted.
She fell into him, against her will, and began sobbing as he spoke. For so long now she'd been able to go to him whenever she was upset, she'd always had his arms to run too, always had him for comfort; but now that she was upset with him she hardly knew what to do. She automatically linked comfort to being wrapped in his arms, and so this really wasn't helping her conflicting emotions at all. Her head was a mess, and honestly she could hardly hear what her was saying over the sound of her crying, but his words still hit her, like knifes embedding themselves in her heart. She had no idea what she would say next, what could she say? There was nothing she could think of that was worth saying, as she was sure he'd have a decent idea of what she was feeling. He'd done this too enough girls now. She still loved him, too- you didn't just stop loving someone like that, but she couldn't say the words back to him this time, they just felt bitter in her throat as she stayed quiet as he let her go, even though her knees nearly buckled. She tried to will herself, yet again, to slap him but it just didn't feel right. She wanted to do it, but she was just too hurt, to emotionally worn out already, and it was only, what, 8am? She wasn't sure. All she knew was that she couldn't do this any more right now, so, after staring at him for what felt like hours but wasn't even a minute, she just shook her head- giving up. "Just," She sighed "You can go now" She told him, her tone flat, as if she was just dismissing him from a meeting or something.

That's the moment his heart actually shattered. Pieces of barbed shrapnel pierced his rib cage, the sting nearly unbearable as she clutched onto him for one final time. Every time her body shook with another sob, he broke just a little more. His knees grew weak under his weight, and he knew that if he hadn't pulled away when he had, that he'd be a mess on the floor. Even if he hadn't wanted to, even if he knew he'd regret not holding her close for just that second longer, he did in fact pull away from Alice. As her head bobbed with defeat, Airron found himself tearing up further, crying more now than he had when he'd lost use of his legs or even when Lydia had blown her brains on the wall across from her. It was always her, always this blonde little beauty. She was the one, his weak spot. Any other girl, as he's replayed to himself many times, would have been a quick walk away, but this was Alice. This was the girl who gifted him with a kiss after he saved her life, a complete stranger who he'd risked it all for. This was the girl who he found himself ashamed of talking to after his hook-up with Marina, even if was dating the deceased brunette and not her at that point. This was the girl who made him childish, where he found himself playing games in the courtyard and teasing little Hope. This was the girl who he'd brought to a Christmas party wearing a ridiculous sweater. This was the girl who he'd never once pressured into more than a kiss- when with any other female he'd have them in bed within a week. This was the girl who he'd given a ring to, one promising a great future. This was the girl who he'd never dreamed of losing. It was all down the drain now, all his fault. It was inevitable, surely. Of course a man like himself would fall back into old habits, why wouldn't he? 'Too blind to see what he had', they'd say. A mistake and a bastard, but it wasn't like that. It was an accident that no one would see as that. The boy who called wolf, only in this case it was him leaving a string of 'whoops' leading to the one time he really hadn't meant to do it. Nobody would believe it, but he knew in his heart that he'd never purposely hurt Alice. Why would he ever willingly put out the only light at the end of his tunnel? Already he was sick of the tears, tired of sobbing and it was only just the beginning. His head was tilted downwards with shame, only raising when she spoke. He tried to slid a mask on, straighten out his scrunched face as he dared to look up at her. Under his eyes were darkening, face damp and irritated from crying. Jaw bobbing some as he tried to act strong for her sake, he gulped, knowing how horrid he must appear to her. Airron couldn't stop his hand from reaching out and caressing her face one last time, palm cupping her jaw as he dragged his fingers over her cheeks in a poor attempt to wipe up her tears. His voice was worn thin, dry as he whispered a final goodbye, "I'm sorry, Alice. Truly. I-I love you." With that, his hand dropped to his side, twitching at his leather jacket for a moment as he debated how to leave before just sulkily turning on his heel and exiting the way he came. Lingering in the doorway for just a moment, he gripped the frame and threw a look over his shoulder, muttering something she would probably neglect, "You know where my room is, if you- if you ever need anything..." He couldn't finish his statement as a fresh sob cracked through his lips, sending him on his way. This, for all he knew, could be his last time seeing the love of his life.
