How he'd managed to escape his overly protective father and worrisome mother was beyond him, but he did it. Slipped out of the vast window that stretched across a good portion of his wall in the early morning hours, leaped down from the second story onto a conveniently placed overhang that stood over their back porch, finishing his parkour like maneuvers by crawling down the timber walls and racing off through the garden into the street. From there he dragged himself to the train station, adjusting his clothing as he walked. A light gray hoodie was held in place by sturdy hands embedded in the pockets, a white v-neck underneath and jeans containing his wallet, keys, and phone slung loosely around his hips. His mother would clearly disapprove of his outfit, her being very keen on him always looking his best, but he didn't care much. Not right now anyways, he just wanted to roam.
In all reality, his parents really wouldn't have minded if he was to leave the house, but it was all the questions they would've asked that he wanted to avoid. 'Where are you going?', 'What are you going to do?', 'Who are you going to see?', 'Is it a girlfriend? Are you visiting a girlfriend? Oh! What's she like?', 'What time will you be home, sweetie?','Do you have money, your phone?', and 'Will you be safe?'. Eden simply didn't have the answers, and didn't want to be put in the situation of having to make something up. He didn't know where he was going or how long he'd be gone. He wasn't even visiting anyone, he simply yearned freedom.
That's what brought him to Four. Adventure, that need to be a rebellious teen and break away from his life- which wasn't bad at all. He couldn't complain. He had riches from his parents work, a loving home, a glorious life, wonderful siblings, and tons of great memories- but nothing like this. No say for himself. So here he was, pacing towards the beach despite the frigid cold winter was bringing on in his heated attire, panting as he thought back on this morning. He'd been planning to ditch his parents for this day for about a week now, so everything was set up. There was a note telling them not to worry on his bed, addressing that he had the essentials and he'd be home before the night's end. He would be safe, he hoped. He wasn't running away, and he made sure they knew that, he just wanted to break free.
Handfuls of golden flecks sprayed around him with each stomp, gathering on his clothing. Sand, something he'd only ever encountered on the faux shores of lake beaches and in textbooks whilst in school, never in person. He never really went anywhere outside of Seven aside from Thirteen on the rare occasion. Anyways, here he was, walking calmly with his destination in mind. The beach, but he didn't quite make it, a low grown stopped him. Gentle blue irises shifted to spot a woman clutching her thigh while struggling to gather her items. His father's kindness setting in, he couldn't walk past her, so Eden averted his path and headed her way.
Voice low, he attempted a few times to make eye contact as he crouched down before her, smiling softly as he spoke, "Here, let me help." He grabbed a thing or two, holding his hand out to offer her the few items he collected, his grin faltering as he spotted her leg. "Are you okay?" He asked with true concern, his parents' traits had clearly gotten thick into his veins. Kindness was his essence. The woman nodded, assuring him that it was just a cramp and thanked him for his kindness. They parted ways after a small chat- mainly her praising him for being so kind despite the war that was raging around them.
Maybe Four wasn't the best option for a day of freedom. Sighing at the thought, he left the corner he'd been stationed at and began his trek to the beach once again. Hopefully he wouldn't get lost, directions weren't his thing.
